Gordon has
worked with our students for the past 3 years
raising the profile of girls’ rugby. He has
delivered a few units of tag rugby with our year
7 & 8 students during curriculum time. Due to
his enthusiasm along with the wide variety of
practices that he has provided, we have had a lot
of girls go on and join a local club. A number of
these have then gone on to represent the County.
As a PE teacher he has furthered my knowledge a great deal by working with him due to him constantly attending courses to update his knowledge. Our lessons often started with multi skill type activities through the warm ups, developing through skills then a large focus on games. The students really enjoyed this and progressed a great deal.
Gordon has also run an afterschool rugby club where girls have been able to pursue their interest and develop from tag rugby to the contact game.
We will certainly continue to work with Gordon and are grateful for all of his support.

has had a brilliant 3 days. He has really enjoyed
it and has learnt a lot and is very proud of what
he has achieved. He is looking forward to the new
season more than ever now! We will certainly be
recommending TTR.

It was great
working with Mr Horsley. He is really
enthusiastic about the game and really helped
with my understanding of tag rugby. I now attend
the afterschool club and will look to join a club
